This isn’t about wine, but it is relevant because without internet, our business would be VERY difficult to run!
The other day, after pulling my hair out for the upteenth time, I gave up on all mobile modems, internet keys and the like and took the plunge for a Satellite Internet system.

This wasn’t a decision to be taken lightly, but it was necessary and I’m so glad the decision was finally made.

Brad knows how long I have procrastinated about setting this up, it’s not a cheap option. But, with a business that relies on the internet as much as ours does, we knew this was the best option for us to take.

Then, as luck would have it, we met up with a couple who had the satellite system fitted in the countryside of Le Marche, being down in a bit of a valley and surrounded by mountains, internet connection was spotty at best, then Brad came along and these guys haven’t looked back. (Another ‘Need internet for business’ situation.) They told us all about Italia Wifi, and having already heard about it and how reliable and fast it was, this tipped the balance for us.

I contacted Brad and we went through the different levels and service we could have. He was great, easy to deal with, and best of all he just happened to be in our area so came along on the same day and checked out exactly where the dish would go. That was on the Thursday.

On the Saturday morning, he rocked up earlier than we had originally planned with all the kit. Within 2 hours, the dish was up and the computers were finally ‘cooking with gas’ as the saying goes! Brad stayed for lunch and then fine-tuned the system and didn’t leave until we were completely satisfied that it was all up and running beautifully. Oh, I have to also say that our friends in Le Marche have said what fabulous customer service Italia Wifi have. Haven’t needed that, obviously, but that’s a big plus in my books!

We don’t have a land-line so this system is perfect for us. Normally with the ‘mobile modems’ you have to have if you don’t have a line into the house are advertised as being wonderfully fast with no connection problems. This is absolutely not what we have found. With Italia Wifi, as long as you have electricity, you have a super-fast internet connection on all your computers or devices that use Wifi – We seem to have acquired a silly number of these devices! All work off the system, all super-fast and reliable.

Reliability is the PRIME reason for choosing this system, speed next. As long as the connection remains constant, I will be happy! I NEED a good connection for our business, Gusto Wine Tours, and one of the great things about the satellite kit is that it will work without a problem all over the EU – So, in the future, should we ever move, we simply take the kit with us and set up at the new place.

In other words, wherever you are in Europe, you can use this system. It’s not just for Italy, although, boy! Does Italy need it! I may be wrong, but I don’t believe there are any fibre optics in Italy for fast ‘broadband’ internet access. Italia-Wifi’s kit gives that speed with a satellite.

I’m not sure if Brad travels outside of Italy to fit these kits, but I do know that he will travel ANYWHERE in Italy! (Hey, it’s a great way to see different parts of this lovely country, isn’t it?!)

There are other features which, I’m sure Brad will tell you about if you contact him, but what I have written is exactly what I wanted. I asked and he delivered, you can’t say any fairer than that, can you?

I realise this sounds like an advert for Brad and his company, and, I suppose it is, but I really don’t apologise for that, because seriously, without Italia Wifi coming to our rescue, I wouldn’t have any hair left! (And I suspect the computers would have had flying lessons out the window!) Those who know me and the internet trouble I’ve had will agree with this 100% !! We’re all breathing a sigh of relief, I can tell you!

We live in the Tuscan hills with no broadband and were looking for reliable internet access. Brad and his colleague came out to us to demonstrate the satellite wi-fi system and help to find a suitable 'hiding place' for the dish. Using the Silver package for the demo, it showed us that we could get instant and fast internet access without interference. He always replied promptly to my questions, even those that would seem 'silly' to a technical person. As we were looking to set up the system for a small condominium to share, the issues were more complex and Brad was very helpful in coming up with innovative solutions.

I have had many internet service providers over the past few years -- nothing has lived up to what was promised until Brad set me up with Italia-Wifi. I am extremely please with the speed, the reliability, and the professionalism of Brad's services. He is always available to assist with an issue - and is prompt in his response time -- something that is not everyday with most Italian companies!

I live very close to Cortona, but I was having trouble with a slow internet connection.

I called Italia WIFI and Brad was with me in a few days and gave me so much help. Nothing was too much trouble, and I was an awkward customer! I wanted the satellite dish out of sight and it took them two days to install everything. We eventually had to change the position of the dish and I didn’t get my way but Brad was so patient!

Although my computer is very important to me, what I wanted more than anything else was to be able to listen to Radio 4. I can now have this on at any time of the day without it constantly cutting out. Sometimes I would wait a couple of days before it would come back on air. No problem now.

I am a very happy customer.

From the beginning I have had a good feeling about the PC clinic. Finally a solution for our problem seemed to be arising! When you live isolated in the hills of Umbria an internet connection is very important. Besides that we have an internet connection, it’s also quiet, fast and stable. What I also appreciate is that when there is a problem with the connection that they try to solve it as soon as possible by sending a person over to evaluate the problem and usually solve it directly. There are lots of advantages to living in a rural area, but until now this has meant having to rely on a slow dial-up internet service because traditonal broadband was simply not available. However, we found a solution in terms of Italia Wi-Fi Wimax!

Italia WiFi is a great solution if you are struggling to get a decent Internet connection. We had some teething problems but Bradley has been pro-active in getting them resolved. Most of the time we have a 7 - 9MBS connection via Satellite. Only way we have found to get a decent connection in Italy!!

I have had a very satisfactory service from WI-Fi Italia. When things have gone wrong, which has happened, all the equipment was replaced, at no extra cost.
The connection is super fast and it has changed my working day since I have had the service installed. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable and fast connection to the internet.

Telecom Italia had informed us that we were never going to get broadband through our phone line as we live too far from our exchange and it would be too expensive for them to justify installing new phone lines. Telecom Italia actually told us that some of their customers had gone down the satellite broadband route with Italia WiFi and gave us your phone number. We’re SO very happy to finally be off of ISDN and pay by the minute!”

We’re very happy to recommend you. We’ve just never been able to get broadband through our phone line as we live too far from the Telecom Italia exchange. We heard that satellite broadband was an option and contacted Italia WiFi, about the satellite option and have never looked back. We’re only disappointed we hadn’t heard of you sooner. I’m saving £50 a week in diesel not having to drive into the office everyday.

The satellite dish is a little larger than anticipated and apart from a few teething problems, which I understand were more to do with the satellite than anything else, our broadband does now work well and is very reliable.
